Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Conducts functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Documents and tracks defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Participates in collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Participates in continuous QA processes and methodologies improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participates in code reviews and provide input on quality and testability.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

Experience: Generally, a minimum of 3 years of related experience that includes experience in Quality Assurance Analysis. Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certified Tester or Certified Software Testing Engineer (CSTE).

Scope of Job/Qualifications: Performs moderately complex testing functions and tasks. Performs analysis of requirements, test coverage and impact of proposed requirements changes. Plans the test effort on simple to moderately complex projects. Conducts peer reviews of test artifacts. Develops strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive decision making. Exhibits business knowledge, including an understanding of the organization’s business and technology operations, and the ability to identify and define business needs. Demonstrates customer focus by being responsive, consultative, collaborative and accurate in work approach. May serve as Scrum Master on an agile team, helping the team through a combination of facilitation and coaching, while also helping those outside the team understand how to interact with the team. May serve as an agile development team member, creating and testing the product increment. Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred.
