Job Description Summary

The Miguez Laboratory is seeking a motivated Lab Technician to support research connecting fundamental extracellular matrix biology with the development of clinically relevant regenerative therapies for craniofacial and periodontal tissues.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Conducting research in collaboration with postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and other laboratory members under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
• Routine laboratory maintenance
• Training students and visiting scholars
• Inventory management and ordering
• Regulatory compliance
• Other duties as assigned. Provide and maintain expertise in innovative solutions focused on the responsible stewardship of Penn Dental Medicine and its community experience.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have experience in cell biology, histological techniques, microscopy/imaging, molecular biology, and data and statistical analysis.
• Experience with animal models, advanced imaging, and omics technologies is desirable but not required. 
• Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
