The opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformers – You’ll work as part of our Insulation & Components team, supporting the production of high-quality Insulation Paper products. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, hazard-free workplace by operating Rewinder machinery in accordance with safety procedures and industrial quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
How you’ll make an impact
Set up, operate, and monitor Rewinder machinery while following all safety procedures, including safety-oriented routine machine checks and thorough inspections before starting work.
Continuously monitor production output for product defects, maintain quality standards, and take corrective actions as required.
Maintain accurate quality and safety records, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and report unsafe conditions, defective equipment, or quality concerns immediately.
Conduct visual inspections for defects, remove defective material, and maintain machine performance through routine cleaning and basic maintenance activities.
Keep accurate production records and ensure compliance with company standards and ISO procedures.
Package finished rolls according to packaging guidelines, label products correctly, and promptly communicate any stock or equipment issues to management.
Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background Education & Experience
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
2–4 years of factory or manufacturing experience.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts (A, B & C shifts).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of safety practices and quality control in machine operations.
Ability to perform manual tasks with good communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of measurement tools such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Measuring Tapes to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
