Copart is seeking a meticulous and detail orientated Facilities Coordinator to join our Property & Facilities Department. Under the direction of the Director of Property Development, the Facilities Coordinator receives mail, scans documents, and processes work orders. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the efficient handling, processing and distribution of all incoming & outgoing mail, packages, and office supplies within the Corporate Headquarters environment.
Serving and supporting both mailroom and facilities; communicating with vendors regarding supplies, shipments and services; maintaining a computerized record of completed work requests and an inventory of assets. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to handle file-by-file verifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security procedures for handling confidential documents and packages.
- Receiving, opening, and scanning processed payments, checks, and other documents.
- Maintain accurate tracking logs for packages and deliveries.
- Collaborate and work cross functionally with facilities department.
- Maintains relevant account information with our logistic vendors.
- Assist with special projects, data entry and other administrative tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, or related (Word, Excel & Outlook) software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs.
Education and Experience:
- At least two (2+) years of related work experience required.
- Associates degree or higher preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
- Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions.
