Facilities Coordinator – JLL
What this job involves:
The Facilities Coordinator supports the management, operations, and maintenance activities of the Buildings & Grounds team for healthcare properties. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless facility operations through customer service excellence, proactive maintenance management, and effective work order coordination. You'll serve as a key liaison between vendors, staff, and clients while maintaining high standards of facility performance. This position offers an opportunity to develop strong client relationships and directly contribute to delivering exceptional healthcare environments that support patient care and operational goals.
What your day-to-day will look like:
• Document and monitor facility conditions using CMMS, conducting spot checks to assess cleaning, maintenance requirements, and potential hazards across assigned facilities
• Perform environment of care inspections on all facilities to ensure compliance and safety standards
• Manage work orders and preventive maintenance activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion in the CMMS
• Provide direction and information to vendors, facilities staff, and service providers to ensure excellent coordination and execution of work
• Participate as a key team member in emergency response situations, ensuring swift and effective resolution
• Support Facilities Manager and Assistant Facilities Manager with special projects, CMMS activities, and operational needs
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with key stakeholders, client personnel, and third parties to enhance facility user experience
Required Qualifications:
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and oral)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to achieve facility goals and objectives
• Proven ability to develop productive working relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Computer proficiency and experience with facility management systems
•Basic knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to perform physical facility inspections and respond to emergency situations
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with CMMS systems (Corrigo preferred) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Healthcare facilities experience • Project coordination experience • Vendor management experience
Location: Onsite, Chicago, IL
Work Shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday
Salary: $29.23 to 32.69.
This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated compensation for this position:
60,800.00 – 68,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
