As a Lead Engineer for Sourcing Initiatives at GE Vernova, you bring data intelligence into Sourcing operations, turning raw data into insights that will drive efficiency across the organization.You will own the reporting infrastructure that keeps the Sourcing team informed, lead the deployment of digital tools that streamline critical processes, and serve as a go-to resource for colleagues looking to sharpen their own capabilities.

Job Description
What You'll Do
Extract, clean, and analyze sourcing data from platforms including Tableau, SAP, and internal tools to identify trends, errors, and outliers that inform decisions
Design and maintain reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) in Power BI (Business Intelligence)
Own the preparation of the monthly Sourcing Management Operations Review (MOR)
Lead the digital tool side of the Manufacturing Clearance process, including administration of Corella CollabSpace and Vendor Response workflows and associated KPI tracking
Manage sourcing tool projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope
Listen to stakeholder needs and recommend process improvements, system enhancements, or targeted training solutions to increase team efficiency
Support and develop colleagues by sharing expertise, building consensus, and helping team members grow their capabilities in sourcing processes and tools
Who You Are
You are a detail-oriented professional with strong data skills and a collaborative instinct — someone who can translate complex sourcing data into clear, actionable reporting and who takes pride in helping a team work smarter.
Required
Bachelor’s or master’s Degree from an accredited university or college
Proven experience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting within a procurement or supply chain environment
Hands-on proficiency with Power BI, SAP and Corella
Demonstrated ability to manage process or tool improvement projects independently
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
Preferred
Experience with Manufacturing Clearance processes or vendor management platforms
Prior experience in a mentoring, knowledge-sharing, or team development capacity
