Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Dispatcher. This is a full-time, 40-hour remote position supporting utility service and scheduling operations.
The Dispatcher is responsible for providing excellent customer service while coordinating utility service and inspection appointments, including federally mandated inspections. This position works closely with customers, contractors, field personnel, and internal teams to ensure scheduling needs are handled efficiently and professionally.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound customer calls related to utility services and appointments
Schedule and coordinate utility service and inspection appointments with customers, contractors, and field personnel
Assist customers with scheduling questions, changes, and general inquiries
Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and internal teams by phone and email
Enter and update information accurately in company systems
Manage multiple tasks and computer systems in a fast-paced environment
Follow established company procedures and escalate issues when necessary
Perform general administrative and customer service duties as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
Previous customer service, call center, scheduling, administrative, or dispatch experience preferred
Proficiency with computers and standard office applications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work in a multi-line phone system environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong grammar and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and responsive to emails and internal communications
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
Able to maintain focus and productivity in a remote work environment
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
Previous customer service, call center, scheduling, administrative, or dispatch experience preferred
