Pizza/Line Cook
Location: Sunset, SC
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Hourly Rate: $18/hour (based on experience)
Reports to: Director of Culinary
Job Overview:
The Pizza/Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in accordance with The Reserve at Lake Keowee’s standards. This role requires efficiency, teamwork, and strong attention to detail to ensure an exceptional dining experience for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check in with the Manager at the start of each shift for daily tasks.
- Set up, operate, and break down kitchen stations efficiently.
- Prepare and cook food to order while following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with state and federal health codes.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including an Italian wood-burning pizza oven, sandwich maker, and fryer.
- Properly store food, ensuring it is covered, dated, and rotated daily.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Assist with banquets and special events as needed.
Work Environment:
- Friendly, professional, and fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Exposure to high heat and cleaning chemicals.
- Occasionally required to work in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications & Skills:
- 2-4 years of relevant kitchen experience (preferred).
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Background check required.
