What you’ll be doing...
You are a strategist focused on breaking into untapped markets and securing new logo partnerships by positioning the network as the backbone of digital transformation. As a specialist in Network Business Development, you orchestrate accounts from the ground up. You act as a high-level consultant, leveraging technical understanding of networking to displace incumbents and establish the company as the premier partner for enterprise-scale connectivity.
Identify and penetrate high-value new logo accounts through prospecting and strategic networking.
Evaluate complex industry trends and customer network topologies to build custom strategic roadmaps.
Build relationships within new organizations ranging from the CIO to the NOC engineers.
Design scalable architectures across the network, including Data Center, SD-WAN, Security Solutions and Cloud environments to solve efficiency gaps.
Use data and capability modeling to demonstrate why network solutions are the choice for business-critical operations.
Navigate complex procurement cycles to deliver winning outcomes for both the customer and the business.
What we’re looking for...
You have a challenger mindset and enjoy deconstructing a prospect's current network limitations to show them a better way forward. You are comfortable leading strategy workshops and negotiating large-scale contracts. You redefine what is possible in your territory.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of experience in technology solutions and managed services sales with a history of acquiring new enterprise logos.
Demonstrated experience selling complex global networking, SD-WAN/SASE, and enterprise security solutions.
Experience in strategic hunting for cold-market entry and territory planning.
Experience of orchestrating and closing high-value, complex technology deals.
Experience in strategic sales at senior executive levels internationally.
Willingness to travel 25%
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A relevant tertiary degree in Business, Information Technology, or Engineering.
Ability to meet or exceed challenging sales targets.
Well-developed presentation and problem-solving skills to help solve customer issues and position new ideas.
Ability to be persuaded and negotiate to create desired outcomes.
An innovative mindset to structure deals both technically and commercially.
Experience developing large multinational and Fortune 500 account relationships.
Experience in persuasion and negotiation to create desired outcomes.
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
