Job Summary:
Provides senior leadership for design management on large, complex, or high-risk projects and programs. Ensures alignment of design development with DPR’s Design-to-Build standards and strategic areas of focus. Integrates the capabilities of the DPR family of companies to manage design risk and support predictable delivery outcomes. Maintains accountability centered on project and program execution rather than regional strategy or organizational governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides senior leadership for design management and integration on large or complex projects and programs.
Oversees design strategy, execution planning, and governance for projects with significant scope, risk, or complexity.
Leads and develops Design Project Managers and Design Integrators assigned to projects.
Ensures effective management of design risk, design quality, and coordination across disciplines.
Integrates capabilities of the DPR family of companies to support predictable cost, schedule, and constructability outcomes.
Serves as the primary escalation point for complex design and coordination issues impacting project delivery.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
12 or more years of experience in design management, design integration, construction, or a related field required.
5 or more years of experience managing design teams or project management staff required.
Certifications and Licenses:
Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Professional certification preferred.
Licensed Architect (AIA membership) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
Anticipated starting pay range:
