Enterprise Solutions brings together software, workflow, data, analytics, regulatory, lending, private markets, managed services, pricing, valuation, and analytical capabilities for enterprise financial services customers. This role will partner across the three ES business divisions and with Product, Technology, Revenue, Customer Experience, Operations, Data, Strategy, and external partners to facilitate the execution of measurable client and business value.
Responsibilities and Impact:
S&P Global is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Operations Manager to join our Enterprise Solutions Business Performance team to drive the continued impact of our team and growth of our division.
As the ideal candidate, you bring proven experience in strategic operations, business management, or technology-driven processes within a fast-paced environment. You're a motivated professional who excels at fostering collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence. In this role, you'll be responsible for advancing our strategic business practices and supporting Enterprise Solutions' next phase of organizational growth and market leadership.
Prepare comprehensive strategy presentations and executive briefings for senior management, synthesizing complex business data into actionable insights
Lead workforce planning initiatives and resource allocation analysis to optimize team performance and operational efficiency
Drive automation and AI implementation for manual processes, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and enhance productivity
Execute ad hoc management requests and special projects, providing rapid turnaround on critical business analysis and recommendations
Collaborate across the 10-person business management team to ensure seamless execution of divisional strategic initiatives
Develop and maintain key performance metrics and reporting frameworks that support data-driven decision making for the ES division
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $104,477 to $135,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in strategic planning, workforce management, and executive presentation development
Advanced proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms, along with expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills
Demonstrated experience with AI-powered productivity tools (such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT) and automation platforms, with an AI-curious mindset for identifying process improvement opportunities
Strong project management capabilities with ability to handle multiple ad hoc requests while maintaining high standards of accuracy and accountability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field with 6-8 years of experience in business operations, strategy, or financial service
MBA or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field with specific coursework in strategic management or operations
Experience within financial services or data/technology companies, with understanding of enterprise software solutions and market intelligence platforms
Strong marketing acumen and advanced communication skills, including experience in stakeholder engagement, internal communications, or marketing strategy development
Familiarity with business process management tools (such as Appian, ServiceNow, or Microsoft Power Platform) and workflow automation methodologies
Previous experience working in matrix organizations and collaborating across global teams with a global mindset for diverse market perspectives
