Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Lobby Services in Gahanna, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a utilities location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, and provide professional communication and customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk within a utility operations location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue temporary access badges as authorized, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and communicate visitor arrivals or concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Observe front desk activity and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, or security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
