Description
· Design machines and fixtures based on engineering principles and project requirements.
· Analyze technical specifications and propose effective design solutions.
· Develop and maintain technical documentation in accordance with industry standards.
· Apply knowledge of manufacturing technologies for machine parts and ensure design feasibility.
· Select appropriate materials for machine construction based on their properties and applications.
· Integrate standard components and drive systems into machine designs.
· Independently develop complete machines or subsystems with minimal supervision.
· Prepare detailed drawings and documentation for mechanical components fabrication.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product design, production, quality, and procurement.
· Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
· Take part in the equipment build process, when necessary.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
· Proven experience in machine design and development.
· Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
· Familiarity with technical documentation standards.
· Strong understanding of materials science and mechanical components.
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM).
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred personal Skills, Attitude and additional Knowledge
· Experience with equipment build and setup.
· Knowledge of ISO and other relevant engineering standards.
· Exposure to lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
· Good communication and teamwork abilities.
· Fluency in English and Bulgarian.
· Clean driver license
· Willingness to travel for machines installation and qualification
Gross Annual Salary Range:
21,433.00 EUR - 29,471.20 EURThe salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.
Starting Salary
The starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.). Applicants will not be asked for salary history.
