What you'll be doing:

• Lead a large team to deliver overall performance objectives including financial targets, production, plant availability, safety and compliance
• Manage the Facility in line with Veolia Minimum Requirements (VMR) toolkit standard, Environmental Permit requirements, ISO standards and ERF safety systems
• Direct and coordinate all aspects of Energy Recovery, Mechanical Treatment and Material Recovery Facilities operations
• Prepare annual budgets for Operations & Maintenance and manage P&L responsibility (Multi £M revenue)
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to deliver client contracts, drive high levels of contract performance and maintain strategic technical oversight
• Record and process accidents, incidents and audit/inspection non-conformities in line with internal and external reporting processes

What we're looking for:

• Previous management experience in Energy Recovery, Power Generation or process industry
• Degree in an Engineering discipline with previous technical experience from a continuous process background
• Strong leadership skills with ability to support and manage teams through guidance and mentoring
• Financial oversight and P&L management experience
• In-depth knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance requirements
• Negotiating and influencing skills with strong commercial acumen
