Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Services Specialist in Pine Brook, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor lobby and reception areas, assist with sign-in processes, verify identification and/or access credentials, and help to support authorized entry procedures in a controlled location.
• Answer phones, direct inquiries, document routine activity, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding security-related concerns, incidents, and/or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while helping to support established response procedures and escalation protocols.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence in an aerospace and defense location while helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive observation and consistent application of post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a guard card/license preferred.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
