Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Fishkill, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional healthcare location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help address security-related concerns while reflecting our values of reliability, agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Monitor access at the reception area by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, and directing guests, patients, and staff according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Maintain front desk activity logs, visitor records, and other required documentation, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations through proper channels.
• Support a professional lobby presence that helps to deter unauthorized access while providing courteous assistance to clients, employees, patients, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
