Description
Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company supporting Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers, is searching for a college student to join our team in Huntsville during their Fall 2026 semester. The intern will work part-time and gain industry experience. The essential functions of the internship may include the following:
Assist with the migration of employee electronic records into the Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
Review employee records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
Organize and clean the HR file room, including inventorying, archiving, and securely disposing of records in accordance with company retention policies.
Support HR administrative projects and process improvement initiatives.
Assist with various benefit administration tasks.
Track, maintain, and monitor data and provide necessary reports as needed.
Assist in tracking workforce training and development.
Participate in exit interviews and process required termination paperwork.
Conduct regular communication with employees to ensure positive employee relations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
The top candidates possess the ability to maintain confidentiality, conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner and effectively communicate across multiple groups. The intern should feel comfortable researching various topics as assigned, demonstrate the ability to present ideas, and work with a team to find a solution. Flexibility and a willingness to learn is must for this position.
Required Skills:
Senior college student seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or in Human Resource Management
Current 3.5 GPA. (GPA must be listed on resume to be considered)
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Must possess a strong ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving ability with prioritization and attention to detail
Strong organizational and planning skills
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with HRIS systems
Willingness to pursue SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) after gaining experience in the field
