We are seeking an ambitious, energetic, and guest-obsessed Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) to join the leadership team of one of Kenya's most distinguished luxury resorts. This is an exceptional opportunity for a rising hospitality professional to take full ownership of all front-of-house operations and guest-facing activities in an iconic East African destination.
The EAM will serve as the face of the resort's guest experience — leading with warmth, precision, and a deep commitment to personalised luxury service. Reporting directly to the Resident Manager, this role is ideal for a dynamic individual ready to make their mark on the world stage of luxury hospitality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Champion an unwavering culture of exceptional, personalised guest service across all touchpoints
- Serve as the primary point of contact for VIP guests, ensuring bespoke experiences that exceed expectations
- Oversee all front-of-house departments, including Front Office, Concierge, Guest Relations, and Recreation
- Ensure seamless coordination between Rooms Division and Food & Beverage for an integrated guest journey
- Monitor daily arrivals, departures, and in-house guest activities; personally managing key guest moments
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team of hospitality professionals across front-of-house departments
- Conduct regular training sessions, briefings, and performance reviews to drive excellence and growth
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture aligned with the resort's luxury brand values
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning within guest-facing teams
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in luxury hotels or resorts, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong operational background in either Rooms Division (Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations) or Food & Beverage management
- Proven experience managing VIP and UHNW guests in a luxury or ultra-luxury environment
- Fluency in both English and German is essential; additional languages are an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop multicultural teams in a remote or resort setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
