About the opportunity

 

Join Sydney College of the Arts at an exciting time of growth and project activity. This role supports the delivery of exhibitions, awards, scholarships, events and public programs. You will work closely with artists, curators, academics, donors and industry stakeholders, assisting with exhibition coordination, application and selection processes, event delivery, communications and project administration. This is a varied opportunity for a highly organised professional who enjoys working in the arts and building strong relationships across the creative sector

 

 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

 

• Assist in coordinating exhibitions, awards, scholarships and public programs from planning through to delivery, working closely with the Gallery Manager and Public Programs Coordinator.
• Support award and scholarship processes, including administration and event delivery.
• Assist with advertising, promotional activities and social media content.
• Coordinate event logistics, stakeholder communications and project schedules.
• Build relationships with artists, curators, contractors and University stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support, maintain project records and prepare meeting documentation.

 

About You

 

• Experience working within a university, cultural institution or similarly complex organisation, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with diplomacy, professionalism and discretion
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, and experience maintaining shared project documentation. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite is desirable. experience creating content for social media and audience engagement will be highly regarded.
