Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a (Snr.) Component Engineer located in Shanghai Jiading.

What a typical day looks like:

• Be responsible for Component Engineer role mainly for MosFET, IC, Diode etc critical power component category
• Be coordinator of all of JID RD EE’s CE work and be interface towards outside JID RD, like sourcing, Supply Quality Engineer, Sweden RD’s CE team etc
• Do the market and technology study on new suppliers and come up with suggestion and solution towards Flex Power Module product requirement and key component selection
• Be responsible for JID RD’s new platform or Major variant project’s component selection in terms of performance as well as meet cost target

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical engineering or relevant technical experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in component engineering or technical sourcing similar role in power supply industry
• Understanding of commonly used topology in power supply component industry
• Strong communication and negotiation skill towards component supplier
• Strong drive and influence capability towards internal component technology coordination work and support project activity 
• Fluent in written English Skills, Self-driven and motivation.
• Prefer to having working experience in DC/DC power company
• Working experience in project sourcing manager or technical sourcing role
