The Co-curricular Programs Team is seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to design, facilitate, and evaluate learning experiences that support students’ personal growth, well-being, leadership development, and success beyond the classroom.
As a Learning & Development Trainer, the appointee will lead a portfolio of co-curricular initiatives, including experiential learning programs, workshops, leadership opportunities, and student communities. The appointee will also provide individual and group advising to help students translate these experiences into meaningful learning and personal development.
Working closely with colleagues and education partners, the appointee will manage the full learning cycle, including needs assessment, curriculum design, facilitation, participant engagement, promotion, evaluation, reporting, and continuous improvement. Areas of work may include wellness, outdoor and experiential education, leadership development, life skills, and other student development initiatives.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic learner who enjoys working directly with students and thrives in a collaborative environment. The appointee should be comfortable facilitating experiential learning activities, managing multiple projects, and using emerging technologies and evidence-informed practices to enhance student learning and engagement.
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills, with strong spoken English are essential. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, adaptable, action-oriented, and able to manage stakeholders and lead projects. The appointee may occasionally work outside normal office hours and perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants should possess a recognized bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience in experiential learning, outdoor education, youth development or related fields, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or project leadership role. Experience with outdoor facilitation or relevant training qualifications is highly desirable. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
