Facility Maintenance Lead
The Facility Maintenance Lead is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of plant utility systems, including steam boilers, water chillers, cooling towers, well pumps, HVAC systems, and related equipment. This role provides hands-on technical leadership while ensuring accurate data collection, compliance reporting, and effective communication across internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of facility utility systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform and oversee mechanical and electrical repairs in accordance with technical manuals and preventative maintenance programs.
- Support and guide technicians in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct and validate daily wet chemistry water testing; ensure accurate data recording and reporting.
- Manage and maintain high volumes of operational and compliance data, ensuring timely internal and external reporting.
- Promote and enforce safety standards, procedures, and best practices across all maintenance activities.
- Maintain a professional presence and foster a positive, accountable team environment.
- Ensure proper use and upkeep of tools and equipment required for maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Technical training in a maintenance-related field or a minimum of three years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience with boiler systems, chillers, or HVAC systems strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example and support team development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and system tracking.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, walking, and climbing ladders.
- Must supply and maintain basic personal tools.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Range: $30.00-40.00 per hour, based on experience
- $2.00/hour shift differential for PM shift
