What You Will Do
The Senior Manager, Global Distribution & Logistics (GD&L) leads a high‑performing team responsible for partnering closely with a third‑party logistics (3PL) provider to deliver affordable, high‑quality parts that meet our customers’ evolving needs. This leader drives operational excellence through the RTX Core operating system, fosters continuous improvement, and coaches the supplier to achieve world‑class performance, quality standards, and lean maturity.
This role supports the Southern Logistics Center Military operation and oversees a dedicated 3PL team responsible for developing and executing Pratt & Whitney’s Military spare parts distribution strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to the GD&L team, ensuring alignment with enterprise supply chain, quality, and customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Military Spares and DCMA to ensure customer needs are met on schedule.
- Monitor and manage end‑to‑end distribution and logistics performance, including cost optimization, on‑time delivery, inventory health, and global material flow.
- Drive corrective actions and long‑term improvements with suppliers to enhance reliability, responsiveness, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Program teams to address supply chain challenges and develop scalable solutions.
- Utilize analytics and performance metrics to proactively identify risk, improve visibility, and support strategic decision‑making.
- Develop talent within the GD&L organization through coaching, performance management, and structured development pathways.
- Champion the RTX Core operating system, cultivating a culture of data‑driven decision‑making, continuous improvement, and operational discipline.
Qualifications You Must Have
- A university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship, required to access information under this program/contract.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
