Summary:
As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying structured quality processes and leveraging automation tools to enhance testing products and solutions. The role centers on overseeing the entire quality engineering lifecycle with a strong emphasis on automation, ensuring that testing activities are executed with precision and reliability. This position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to maintain high standards of control, accuracy, and data integrity throughout the testing phases, contributing to the overall success of the project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and quality standards.
Designs and governs end-to-end QA strategies including test plans, regression suites, and automated pipelines. Validates data integrity via SQL, coordinates UAT with end users, and performs defect root-cause analysis. Evaluates and improves testing frameworks and tools. Establishes quality standards and mentors junior QEs. Ensures all software meets quality benchmarks before deployment.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium, Micro Focus LoadRunner.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
Test Automation - Mabl, Selenium WebDriver, QTP (UFT)
Performance Testing : LoadRunner
API Testing, SQL
Test automation frameworks: Mabl, Selenium, QTP/UFT, LoadRunner
SQL-based test data validation & ODBC configuration
API testing with Postman (RESTful & SOAP)
Test design techniques: equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis
Defect lifecycle management & root-cause analysis
UAT coordination (alpha & beta phases)
Agile/Scrum Azure DevOps or Jira

Scripting: C, VB, or Python for custom test automation
Experience in pharma/healthcare
Master's in CS/Software Engineering

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
Required Cert (one of):
ISTQB CTFL
ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst
Preferred Certs:
CSQE (ASQ)
Mabl Certified Tester or Selenium WebDriver
AZ-900 or AWS Cloud Practitioner
Resource should work in Pune
Resource visit office 3 days a week and work in Shift B
