Summary:
The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating the planning, procurement, and scheduling of materials required to support the manufacturing of one or more product lines, ensuring timely material availability and efficient production operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for production schedules. Keep System update and database.
Responsible for paperwork generation to support assigned product lines. This includes traveler issuing and closing, connecting jobs on the floor to orders in the system, and other activities typically performed by the production control function.
Responsible for estimating and planning raw and/or any other material requirements used to support assigned product lines. Coordinates purchasing activities of those items.
Revises purchasing or planning documentation as appropriate.
Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
Follow up production until reach ship date required checking no to over or under ship.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree completed in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
1+ year of relevant experience in production planning, materials management, or manufacturing operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Good written and oral English communication skills required (B2+)
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Able to work in a self-managed work team environment.
Work differing work schedules if required
Responds to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
Define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.
