ABOUT THE ROLE

The Commercial Director is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing commercial strategies in our local office based on company goals to support and accelerate growth. This role will conduct market research and analysis to develop and execute business plans for commercial opportunities.

The main duties are:

• Develop and implement commercial strategies in line with company objectives to accelerate growth.
• Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.) and to understand threats.
• Manage existing client relationships - understand their requirements, ensure meeting their needs.
• Design and implement new sales and customer acquisition strategies.
• Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (Marketing, Sales, Customer Service).
• Monitor performance of sales activities using key metrics and report to the Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer at Lantek HQ.
• Establish and maintain long-term, profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Assist with the setting, managing, and monitoring financial targets and budget development.
• Supervise branding and marketing endeavors to ensure all efforts are aligned with business goals.
• Develop a high-performance work team by supporting its members in doing their best.
• Manage team building. Lead a sales team, contributing to its training and development to ensure its smooth operation. 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

REQUIREMENTS

• BSc/BA in Business Administration, Finance, or similar. 
  • MSc/MA will be a plus.
• Experience of 5 years as a Commercial Director or a similar position.
• In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
• Experience in the Sheet Metal industry, preferably in Software.
• Experience in Client Relationship Management.
• Experience in reporting and managing budgets.
• Business development professional with a proven track record of success.

• Advanced English.

• Strong interpersonal, leadership and public speaking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload and delegate effectively.
• Strong business vision and understanding of customers, competitors and market dynamics.
