• Cutting payroll costs by $35k - $50k with agents that handle admin work for store owners
• Increasing revenue by 10-15% with eCommerce and marketing agents that drive sales

About the Role

We’re looking for someone with world-class taste and product sense to join us as our first product design hire.

We need help bringing intuitive interfaces to both desktop and mobile for our vast product. We move fast and ship daily. Many of your designs will be in production the next morning.

You will touch the checkout screen, reports, tables, settings page, mobile app, onboarding, eCommerce, AI flows, and agentic interfaces. You’ll help build our design guidelines on both Figma and in code. You’ll help us turn our existing designs into delightful experiences our customers will love.

Color, hierarchy, and form should come naturally to you, and so does an intuition for how people behave. You know why you like something and why you don't. You notice when something feels off and recognize beautiful designs in the everyday world. You push your convictions, but you’re humble enough to explore and iterate on ideas when you’re uncertain.

In this role, you will

• Listen to customers and internalize their root problem, figuring out what they’re actually trying to do
• Design intuitive, simple, and delightful interfaces that solve the root problems
• Explore new ways customers will work alongside AI agents
• Prototype desktop and mobile designs with Claude/Codex and Figma
• Collaborate directly with engineering to determine scope for all user-facing work
• Build our design guidelines
• Define a cohesive visual identity across our product as well as GTM assets

Who You Are

• Humble
• Very high bar
• Obsessive about your craft
• Have experience designing and building your own ideas
• Can prototype with Codex, Claude Code, Conductor, etc. and Figma

Compensation

$120,000 - $160,000 + Meaningful Equity

This range reflects the expected compensation for this role. Compensation within the range is determined based on experience, skills, and scope of responsibilities. In addition to base salary, we offer meaningful early-stage equity — this team's work is the foundation the company compounds on.
