Accounting Assistant - AP

Account Payable Function :

• Process daily operation such as invoice booking, Customs bank clearing and staff claim/expenses
• Verify and record invoices to ensure the completeness and accurate of data recorded and aligned with relevant tax regulations and accounting standards within timeline
• Provide withholding tax certificate to the vendor for the manual case
• Provide the basic information such as estimated payment date, payment status to shareholders
• Handle the payment process of vendor such as expenses which related to retail and business operation
• Perform month end closing tasks under AP related accounts in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines
• Arrange documents which related to AP function to support tax related submission
• Coordinate and follow up with contact person to submit original invoice within timeline
• Ensure that financial data, for which you are responsible, is accurate and delivered on-time
• Support the team to deliver ad hoc requests, projects and users training

Requirement :

• 3+ years of working experience in accounting field AP experience or audit background.
• Being proactive, hardworking, organized and responsible.
• Interpersonal skills - Good level of written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Proficient with Excel
• Knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage.
