Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in North Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols at a food and beverage distribution location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post combines customer service, clear communication, and integrity while working with a reliable, agile, and caring team.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of food and beverage distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, building interiors, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, vendors, and drivers entering restricted operational and warehouse areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Maintain awareness of facility operations, vehicle traffic, and delivery activity while reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
