Job Summary
Position Title: IT Asset & Infrastructure Operations Specialist
Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Asset & Infrastructure Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end asset lifecycle, vendor coordination, and infrastructure monitoring. This role is responsible for maintaining asset accuracy, overseeing deployments, managing licenses, supporting endpoint tools, and ensuring network and system uptime.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the Asset Register ensuring complete accuracy and audit readiness
- Administer and track assets using systems such as Asset Panda
- Handle asset provisioning, tracking, and disposal via Galide (Disposal platform)
- Ensure proper asset tagging, ownership mapping, and lifecycle compliance
- Manage endpoint security and device compliance using:
- Absolute
- JAMF Pro (Mac device management)
- Ninja (RMM tool)
- Oversee device enrollment via Apple Business Manager
- Perform remote monitoring, patching, and troubleshooting of endpoints
- Ensure endpoint security standards and policies are enforced
- Administer software license tracking and compliance
- Optimize license usage to reduce costs and prevent over/under-utilization
- Maintain accurate records for audits and renewals
- Plan and execute device deployments and refresh cycles
- Coordinate staging, imaging, and configuration of devices
- Manage shipment logistics using tools and vendors like:
- UPS
- Verizon Wireless (mobile device provisioning)
- Track supply chain and inventory across locations
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
- Handle vendor coordination for procurement, maintenance, and support
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and suppliers
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and contract terms
- Utilize monitoring tools such as:
- Uptime Robot (system availability monitoring)
- Meraki Dashboard (network monitoring and management)
- Maintain visibility into infrastructure health and uptime
- Manage EKM Insight and ENVI platforms for operational insights and reporting
- Support KTech Portal administration and updates
- Provide support for network operations and troubleshooting
- Monitor and manage devices via Meraki Dashboard
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for issue resolution and escalations
- Maintain ISP-related documentation and SharePoint pages
- Manage and maintain Print Server infrastructure
- Ensure availability and troubleshooting of print services across the organization
- Maintain accurate documentation across:
- Asset systems
- SharePoint pages (including ISP-related content)
- Ensure process standardization and operational transparency
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with IT asset management tools (e.g., Asset Panda)
- Strong knowledge of endpoint management tools (JAMF Pro, Ninja, Absolute)
- Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and enterprise device provisioning
- Experience with network monitoring tools (Meraki, UptimeRobot)
- Understanding of vendor management and procurement processes
- Knowledge of license lifecycle management
- Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tools and workflows simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EKM Insight, ENVI, or similar reporting tools
- Experience managing logistics providers (UPS, telecom vendors)
- Exposure to ITIL processes or service management frameworks
- Basic networking knowledge and ISP coordination experience
