Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Point Attendant in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, restricted locations, parking areas, and the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors, report security-related observations, and support a professional, orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
