What's so exciting about this role?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing New Zealand Marketing team with ambitious growth plans for our consumer credit card portfolio. As Digital Marketing Manager, you'll take ownership of driving customer growth across our suite of card products including Q, using data, insights, and performance marketing to deliver measurable results. You’ll have the autonomy to shape digital strategy, influence decision-making, and lead initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and sales. If you're a commercially minded digital marketer who thrives on analytics, performance optimisation, and turning insights into action, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact in a fast-growing business.
What Does An Average Day Look Like?
No day is average at humm but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:
- Own and optimise our NZ digital ecosystem, including website and app experience, to ensure our channels are customer first. With this you will work with relevant stakeholders to improve path to purchase, path to conversion for new customers, and optimise referral pathways with responsibility for UX, SEO, CRO, referral pathways, and on-site merchandising to drive customer growth and engagement.
- Lead SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), digital measurement, and analytics initiatives, partnering with internal teams and agency partners to identify opportunities, improve performance, and maximise ROI.
- Take ownership of GA4 for NZ Marketing, including audience development, attribution, reporting dashboards, remarketing strategies, insights, and optimisation recommendations.
- Design, implement, and optimise customer acquisition, reactivation, retention, and engagement campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, working closely with Acquisition and Lifecycle Marketing teams to improve conversion across the customer journey.
- Translate data and customer insights into actionable recommendations, leveraging analytics tools and measurement frameworks to drive continuous improvement, growth, and enhanced customer experiences.
Who will thrive in this role?
You're a data-driven digital marketer with a curious mind who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for driving growth across a variety of initiatives. You’re a self-starter and will be able to work autonomously and proactively to find new avenues for growth and new revenue. You love analysing performance, uncovering opportunities, and using insights to optimise customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
- Strong hands-on experience in SEO, SEM, website optimisation, GA4 analytics, CRM, and marketing automation, ideally including Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar).
- Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, measurement frameworks, and performance improvements.
- Proven experience managing customer journeys, customer lifecycle campaigns, audience segmentation, campaign execution, and digital optimisation to deliver commercial outcomes.
- Comfortable working autonomously, identifying opportunities, solving problems, and building scalable marketing solutions from the ground up.
- 5+ years' experience in digital, performance, CRM, and/or lifecycle marketing, ideally gained within an agency or highly data-driven environment.
