Overview
Sonrava Health is seeking a Director, Strategic Initiatives to join our Strategic Initiatives team and help drive high-priority operational and organizational improvement initiatives.
Reporting to the VP, Strategic Initiatives, this hands-on role will lead complex, cross-functional workstreams from problem definition through implementation. The Director will partner with executive leaders and teams across Operations, Finance, Clinical, Technology, and HR to turn strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and operational improvement initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Partner with senior leaders to structure complex business problems and develop practical solutions.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify opportunities, root causes, and recommendations.
- Design and improve standard operating processes (SOPs) and workflows.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and performance measures.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and drive accountability.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, recommendations, and progress updates.
- Support change management and implementation to ensure sustainable adoption.
- Develop tools and processes that improve visibility, accountability, and decision-making.
Qualifications
- 4–7+ years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, program management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success leading complex projects and cross-functional workstreams from strategy through execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate financial and operational data, identify key insights, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Proven experience developing and managing project plans, tracking performance, and delivering measurable operational, financial, or organizational improvements.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, process design, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare executive-level materials and facilitate productive working sessions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and drive progress without direct authority.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- High level of ownership, intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience in multi-site healthcare, dental services, private equity-backed organizations, or other complex, distributed-service environments is a plus.
