This Engineer will be responsible for new projects phase and mass production phase, participating in new product development with RD, introduction and implementation of new technologies and processes.

New project phase Key responsibilities:

• Has related product and process development experience in metal part related field, can choose reasonable raw material, design structure, make test plans, product verification, process development etc.

• Understand product function, process feasibility assessment and design process routing. New material recommend/application/process technology discussion with sales, FAE or customers.

• Responsible new product request evaluation, and design drawings, make the verification plan, provide DFM if necessary.

• Participate in the whole process of new project about tooling design/development, fixture design, debugging.

• Provide specific RFQ data for the project (such as production capacity, manpower, equipment, fixture, material usage etc.)

• Lead the sample and trial run production process of new products, solve problems in time if found.

• Prepare and update related documents (Flow Chart, PFMEA, SOP/WI, etc.)

• Participate in the review of engineering documents to ensure integrity/correctness /consistency.

• Confirm all relevant information of products, lead the production process development of new projects for metal and converting field.

• Identify the risks of HSF about product, packing and transportation process of products.

MP phase responsibilities:

• Need assessment and application fixture. Design and confirmation improvement of the fixture.

• Manufacturing cost analysis and improvement: material cost, labor cost, reasonable analysis.

• Process improvement and optimization: improve production efficiency and reduce waste of materials.

• Production process yield improvement: According to the actual process data statistics, specify improvement plans and measures, and take full responsibility for improvement verification and engineering changes.

• Training the operators; Supervise and inspect the status of process.

• Provide technical support online, solve process and quality problems in the production process, analyze the root cause, make the actions and confirm the results.

• Assist product BOM maintenance and review.

• Assist quality engineers to solve customer complaints, analyze problems and improve quality.

• Responsible for reviewing, revising and implementing the department's procedure documents.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and above

• 3-5 years' work experience in product design, experience in automotive parts/consumer electronics industry is preferred

• Hands-on experience in manufacturing environment
