What You Will Do
- Execute and design cost opportunities for manufacturing site
- Comply with Essity procedures, purchasing policy and financial instructions
- Support Sourcing managers in the execution of tenders, supplier qualification, supplier selection, risk management
- Work closely with all stakeholders to drive continuous improvement through cost saving projects, organizing trials, implementing supplier changes and tracking savings.
- Maintain and develop knowledge database, aligning reporting capability across the hub and co-ordination of systems improvements, driving initiatives such as E- procurement.
- Review and monitor sourcing operational needs when working with suppliers, ensuring effective communication of best practices.
- Review and maintain records of approved suppliers in line with Essity risk policy.
- Ensure that the interests of Essity are managed in a professional and ethical manner throughout all interactions with suppliers, ensuring full compliance with Essity Supplier Standard.
- Ensure, where appropriate, the integration of common product types across the location.
- Supply regular updates and KPI’s to Sourcing managers to ensure effective communication of cost saving activities.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's in supply chain preferred but not required
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing buyer position
- Organized and comfortable with ambiguity
- Being able to prioritize and troubleshoot requests
- Strong communication ability
- Good Project Management skillset
- Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic
