We are working closely with a local authority in Lincolnshire to assist with the appointment of a Customer Service Advisor Care & Wellbeing Hub, on a 3-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.76- £16.49 per hour
Summary:
Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a compassionate and professional Customer Service Advisor to join the Children's Team within the Care & Wellbeing Hub. As the first point of contact for concerns relating to children, you will receive and manage sensitive enquiries from members of the public and professionals, gathering accurate information to support safeguarding decisions. This role requires excellent communication skills, emotional resilience, professional curiosity, and the ability to record detailed information accurately within a fast-paced customer service environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive telephone calls from members of the public, police officers, health professionals, teachers, social care professionals, and partner agencies.
- Ensure all records are factual, comprehensive, and completed to a high standard.
- Identify safeguarding concerns and ensure information is escalated promptly to Children's Social Care.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with safeguarding legislation, GDPR, council policies, and information governance requirements.
- Use Microsoft Office applications and internal databases to manage records and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics (essential).
Essentials:
- Previous experience in a customer service, contact centre, administration, or call handling environment.
- Experience accurately recording information using electronic case management or CRM systems.
- Experience handling safeguarding-related enquiries is advantageous.
