Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary:
As a Performance Engineer, a typical day involves investigating and resolving complex performance issues that have not been identified by the internal performance testing team. The role requires a comprehensive approach to understanding the software development lifecycle and architecture, ensuring that applications meet performance standards. Daily activities include validating performance through rigorous testing, planning for capacity needs, managing application performance, and swiftly detecting and addressing problems to maintain optimal system functionality. Collaboration across various teams is essential to deliver effective solutions and enhance overall system efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify root causes of performance bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to build collective expertise.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align performance goals with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and architecture principles.
- Experience in performance testing methodologies and validation techniques.
- Knowledge of capacity planning and resource optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with application performance management tools and problem resolution processes.
- Ability to analyze complex system behaviors and provide actionable insights.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
