Responsibilities:

This is an Junior Accountant position that requires the incumbent to perform a variety of accounting activities related to the general ledger and reporting; computes, classifies, and records transactions into the Company’s financial accounting systems.

Primary :

• Records, classifies and summarises accounting transactions.

• Compile and review accounting documents, verifying accuracy in line with established procedures.

• Prepare and validate documents for system input, including itemized charges, account coding, and total costs.

• Select correct accounts; posts, verifies, and balances debits & credits entries.

• Perform accounting calculations and reconciliations as required.

• Responds to inquires, checks accounting transactions to locate and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare reports, management reports and schedules as needed.

• Support internal and external audit requests, controls, and SOX-related activities.

• Any other duties assigned

Secondary

• Keep abreast of latest Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).

 

Education Backround:

• Diploma in Accounting education and/or similar

Work Experience:

• 3 years financial experience
