Junior Project Manager

The Junior Project Manager is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, governance, and optimization of the Aha! product suite (e.g. Roadmaps, Ideas, Development, etc.). This person acts as the subject-matter expert and steward of the platform, supports end users, and continuously improves processes and usage.

Accountabilities:

Platform Setup & Configuration

• Configure Aha! accounts, workspaces, products, initiatives, and release structures to align with organizational strategy.

• Define and maintain field configurations, custom views, workflows, status definitions, scoring models, templates, and automation rules.

• Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls (e.g. Administrator, Contributor, Viewer).

• Handle integrations between Aha! and Azure DevOps.

• Configure single sign-on (SSO), authentication, and security settings as needed.

Governance & Standards

• Establish and enforce governance standards, best practices, and naming conventions for roadmap artifacts, features, releases, etc.

• Audit and maintain data cleanliness (e.g. duplicate features, orphaned records, stale items)

• User Support, Training & Adoption.

• Serve as first point-of-contact for user questions, tickets, and escalations about Aha! Usage.

• Develop and deliver training (onboarding, refresher sessions, advanced usage).

• Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, onboarding checklists, and training materials.

• Drive adoption and usage — encourage best practices, adoption campaigns, usage metrics tracking.

Enhancements & Continuous Improvement

• Gather feedback from users and stakeholders and propose enhancements or changes to the Aha! Setup.

• Pilot and test new Aha! releases or features and manage rollout.

• Monitor usage metrics, identify pain points, and propose optimization strategies.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to align Aha! structure with evolving business needs.

Reporting, Analytics & Insights

• Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations within Aha! (or via exported data) to support leadership and product decisions.

• Track roadmap progress, feature delivery, initiatives vs. goals, and other key metrics.

Change Management & Rollout

• Communicate upcoming changes, impact, and training to stakeholders.

• Coordinate rollouts, migrations, and data transformations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT-related course (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems).

• At least 2 years of experience administering or configuring Aha! or a similar product, roadmap, or portfolio management tool.

• Strong understanding of product management, roadmapping, and Agile/Lean methodologies.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including data auditing and cleanup.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into system configurations and support non-technical users.

• Project management and change management experience.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Operations, and Leadership.

• Experience with AI, automation tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
