Mechanization Coordinator PSM

Job Description Summary:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring mechanization activities to improve productivity and operational efficiency through the optimal utilization of equipment, while ensuring the effective implementation of mechanization initiatives.

Job Description:

• Plan and implement mechanization programs to improve operator productivity and work efficiency.
• Supervise the utilization of mechanization equipment to ensure optimal use.
• Analyze mechanization requirements and provide recommendations for equipment procurement and development.
• Coordinate with the operations, engineering, and central workshop teams regarding equipment usage schedules, maintenance, and repairs.
• Monitor equipment performance based on operational data, including productivity, downtime, fuel consumption, and operating costs (Running Account).
• Support pilot projects, partial rollouts, and the monitoring of mechanization implementation at PSM.
• Provide local adaptation recommendations to ensure smooth and effective implementation.
• Monitor the progress of mechanization implementation and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Control the mechanization budget and ensure resources are utilized according to plan.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and operational procedures.
• Prepare periodic reports and evaluations on the effectiveness of mechanization programs and recommend improvements.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanization, engineering, workshop operations, plantation operations, or heavy equipment management, preferably in the palm oil industry.
• Willing to be assigned to the company's operational sites as required.
