About the Role:
Reporting to the People Experience Manager Pacific Islands, the HR Administrator role plays a critical role in delivering effective, accurate, and customer-focused People & Culture services across Essity Pacific. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of employee and payroll data, supporting employee lifecycle administration, and providing timely advice and assistance to employees and leaders.
What You Will Do:
- Ensure compliance with payroll processes, system requirements, and legislative obligations.
- Process payroll accurately and within required time frames.
- Coordinate employee setup within HRIS, payroll, and employee self-service platforms.
- Prepare, maintain, and administer temporary, fixed-term, casual, and other employment contracts.
- Process contract variations, extensions, renewals, and terminations in a timely manner.
- Act as the first point of contact for general People & Culture enquiries.
- Resolve employee enquiries efficiently and escalate complex matters where appropriate.
- Maintain employee records in accordance with organisational, legislative, and privacy requirements.
- Support Essity's commitment to safety by demonstrating and promoting safe work practices.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure employee files remain accurate, complete, and compliant.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in HR Administration, Payroll Administration, or a similar People & Culture role.
- Experience administering payroll using PayGlobal or a similar payroll system.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Knowledge of employment legislation, payroll practices, HR administration processes and Occupational Health & Safety.
