First (Days)Overview:
Supervisor, Maintenance
To plan, organize, supervise, coordinate and control the activities of the plant operations and maintenance functions which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, H.V.A.C., mechanical, electrical systems, utilities and grounds in a safe working condition.
The Supervisor, Maintenance is responsible for administering labor and material controls, for training of maintenance personnel in safety and for effective management practices. Contribute to the success of the operating center through effective work coordination, management of resources and participation in goal accomplishment.
All licenses, certifications or registrations must be maintained in area of specialty
Location hub is Sentara Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia
Candidate will travel to various facilities across Hampton Roads (north up to Williamsburg, south to Eliz City, NC).
Education
- Associate Level Degree Preferred
- High School Diploma required (or equivalent)
Certification/Licensure
- Virginia or North Caroling Drivers License in good standing (no excessive points)
Experience
- 4 years related Maintenance/facilities maintenance required
- Previous Project Management experience strongly preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Valid VA or NC drivers license ( for Insurance/Company vehicle)
