We are seeking a highly motivated Data & AI Architect to join our Digital Manufacturing and Engineering Unit. In this role, you will be part of the Quality team and you will design, develop, and deploy scalable AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Data Analytics solutions that improve manufacturing quality, automate engineering processes, and support data-driven decision making across global production sites.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality, Industrial, manufacturing, and IT/IS teams to deliver innovative solutions using modern cloud technologies, Generative AI, and advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end AI and data solutions for manufacturing and quality engineering.

• Build Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for defect detection, predictive analytics, and process optimization.

• Develop Computer Vision applications using image processing, CNNs, and modern AI techniques.

• Design and implement Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI workflows.

• Develop scalable data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and analyzing manufacturing and engineering data.

• Create interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Looker Studio and SQL (Bigquery).

• Develop Python applications and automation tools to streamline engineering and quality workflows.

• Deploy AI applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, and related cloud services.

• Integrate enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and manufacturing data sources.

• Perform statistical analysis including Capability Analysis, Gage R&R, Correlation Analysis, and process performance evaluation.

• Develop desktop and web applications for engineering teams using Python frameworks.

• Ensure AI solutions follow best practices for scalability, security, maintainability, and performance.

• Collaborate with global engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver business-focused AI solutions.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation and digital transformation.

• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and deployment documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of AI-driven manufacturing solutions.

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Develop reusable AI frameworks and analytics tools.

• Mentor engineering teams on AI, Machine Learning, and data best practices.

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve deployed solutions.

• Work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, and IT teams on cross-functional initiatives.

• Participate in solution design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning.

• Manage project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6+ years of Experience in manufacturing, automotive, medical devices, or industrial automation.

• 6+ years of Experience deploying AI solutions into production environments.

• Strong understanding of software architecture and cloud-native development.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
