Business Analyst

Role overview:
Work with users, business stakeholders and delivery colleagues to understand needs, improve processes and define clear requirements for ESCS capabilities. The Business Analyst supports work from discovery through design, build, test, adoption and acceptance.
The role you will play:
Create shared understanding of business needs, processes and desired outcomes.
Translate stakeholder needs into prioritised, testable backlog items.
Maintain clear analysis artefacts and traceability through delivery.
Primary responsibilities:
Plan and facilitate workshops, interviews and process walkthroughs.
Document current and future processes using BPMN or equivalent techniques.
Elicit, analyse and document business, user, data and non-functional requirements.
Create user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting models.
Support backlog refinement, prioritisation and change control.
Maintain requirements traceability and support design and test reviews.
Analyse data and business rules to clarify needs and impacts.
Support UAT, training, transition and business change activities.
Required skills and capabilities:
Business analysis and requirements elicitation
BPMN or equivalent process modelling
Workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement
User stories and acceptance criteria
Backlog refinement and prioritisation
Requirements lifecycle and traceability
Data analysis and business rules
Change impact analysis
Agile delivery practices
Concise documentation and communication
Required experience:
Experience gathering and analysing requirements for technology-enabled change.
Experience mapping processes and working with multiple stakeholder groups.
Experience supporting delivery teams through refinement, testing and acceptance.
Desired experience:
Supply chain, procurement or enterprise SaaS delivery.
Process improvement or operating model work.
BCS, IIBA or equivalent analysis training.

Pay Range:
£58,400.00-£74,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
