We currently have an opportunity for a Server Assistant to join our opening team. This position will report to the Restaurant Manager and play an important role in supporting seamless restaurant operations and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the dining room and service areas for daily operations in accordance with established outlet standards.
• Set, clear, and reset tables according to established service standards, utilizing tray service as appropriate.
• Run food and assist with the service of food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Remove used plates, utensils, and glassware and transport them to designated areas.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked dining and service areas throughout the shift.
• Set up and replenish service stations, including plates, utensils, glassware, to-go supplies, and other service items.
• Arrange dining areas based on anticipated guest volume, reservations, and operational needs.
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs and special requests, escalating concerns to a Server or Supervisor when appropriate.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests in accordance with outlet’s service standards while providing attentive and personalized service.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of front-of-house and back-of-house work areas, as well as china, glassware, utensils, and service equipment.
• Complete assigned opening and closing duties, including restocking, cleaning, and securing service areas.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance in accordance with company standards.
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously with guests and team members.
• Work collaboratively with Servers, Supervisors, culinary team members, and other colleagues to support efficient and seamless restaurant operations.
• Consistently follow established quality, safety, sanitation, and service standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• TIPS certification required, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Current Food Handler’s Card required.
• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred.
• Positive, service-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, upscale hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality guest service.
• Ability to learn, implement, and consistently uphold established service standards.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with Clubhouse and Hotel guests and team members.
• Ability to remain composed and effective in busy or high-pressure situations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position.
