A respected private practice in the Napa / Sonoma California area is hiring a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join its established cardiac anesthesia team. This is a rare chance to practice cardiac anesthesia in Northern California wine country, with a partnership track and compensation of $750,000 to $900,000 per year.

About the Cardiac Anesthesiology Position You will join a cohesive team of five to six cardiac anesthesiologists who cover a varied, engaging mix of cardiac and structural heart cases. Cardiac work takes place at two hospitals, with vacation coverage at a third, and physicians rotate between sites as needed.

Case Mix and Clinical Responsibilities

• Off-pump cardiac surgery (OPCAB), performed by the cardiac anesthesia team only
• Structural heart program including TAVR, Watchman left atrial appendage closure, and MitraClip
• Electrophysiology (EP) lab cases
• Intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• General anesthesia cases between cardiac assignments for a balanced, varied schedule

Call Schedule Cardiac call is shared only among the cardiac anesthesia team. Call frequency varies with team schedules and case volume, and details are reviewed during the interview process.
