Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and proactive Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, strong active listening abilities, and confidence in handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
Although this is an intake position, it also has a consultative sales component. The successful candidate must be comfortable explaining paid consultations to prospective clients and guiding conversations to determine whether individuals are a good fit for the firm.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST
Monthly Compensation: 1,142 to 1,220 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain detailed and accurate notes within the CRM.
- Determine whether prospective clients meet the firm's criteria before scheduling consultations.
- Make outbound calls to: Confirm and remind clients about appointments, return client inquiries, communicate updates and information.
- Screen prospective clients by asking thoughtful follow-up and qualifying questions.
- Explain the firm's consultation process and associated fees confidently.
- Schedule appointments accurately.
Requirements:
Previous Receptionist, Client Services, Customer Service, or Administrative experience.
Previous sales or consultative customer-facing experience is highly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong active listening skills.
Comfortable asking probing and qualifying questions.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Able to multitask in a busy phone-based environment.
Professional, personable, and empathetic.
Confident working independently.
