Description
StackAdapt is the leading technology company that empowers marketers to reach, engage, and convert audiences with precision. With 465 billion automated optimizations per second, the AI-powered StackAdapt Marketing Platform seamlessly connects brand and performance marketing to drive measurable results across the entire customer journey. The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.
StackAdapt is seeking a Senior Agency Development Manager to accelerate platform adoption and commercial growth across Publicis, WPP, and Havas in the United States.
This role will serve as the primary strategy and activation partner for Programmatic Centers of Excellence and centralized programmatic teams across these Holding Companies. The Senior Agency Development Manager will translate enterprise-level partnerships into scalable onboarding, education, certification, and product-adoption programs that enable agency practitioners to confidently recommend and activate StackAdapt.
Working closely with StackAdapt’s Sales, Account Management, Product, Solutions, and Marketing teams, this person will identify and remove barriers to adoption, support nuanced platform and product questions, and help convert Holding Company partnerships into measurable campaign activity and platform spend.
StackAdapt is a remote-first company; however, for this position, we are prioritizing candidates based in New York or Chicago due to their proximity to key agency partners.
What You'll Be Doing:
HoldCo Activation & COE Partnership
- Translate Holding Company agreements and strategic priorities into actionable activation frameworks tailored to the operating models of Publicis, WPP, and Havas.
- Develop and execute scalable activation programs for Programmatic COEs, including strategic onboarding, certifications, workshops, and custom training programs.
- Partner with COEs and support the Director of Agency Development to execute joint business plans, ensuring StackAdapt is effectively positioned.
- Equip COE leaders and practitioners with the knowledge and materials needed to confidently advocate for and activate StackAdapt.
- Measure the success of these programs by tracking participation, platform usage, and resulting campaign activation.
Platform Expertise & Programmatic Media Strategy
- Serve as the primary programmatic resource, helping agency teams translate complex platform capabilities into clear use cases, internal guidance, and actionable workflows.
- Proactively identify technical, educational, or commercial barriers preventing activation, and coordinate the appropriate internal resources to resolve them.
Sales Partnership & Opportunity Development
- Act as the connective tissue between agency COEs and StackAdapt’s Sales and Account Management teams, ensuring clear ownership of brand engagement.
- Provide sellers with agency intelligence and platform expertise to help them advance opportunities more effectively.
- Leverage COE insights to identify under-penetrated areas and support campaign development, without replacing the seller as the owner of the commercial process.
Cross-Functional Strategy & Market Insights
- Capture recurring agency feedback, workflow trends, and competitive insights, translating them into actionable guidance for Product, Marketing, and leadership.
- Identify strategic opportunities for custom adoption initiatives, co-development, beta participation, and specialized agency programming.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- 5+ years in digital advertising, programmatic media, or ad-tech, with experience in agency development, client activation, solutions, or platform adoption.
- Direct experience working with major agency Holding Companies, ideally Publicis, WPP, or Havas, and a strong understanding of Programmatic COEs.
- Deep knowledge of programmatic advertising, including DSPs, audiences, measurement, optimization, and campaign workflows.
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior agency stakeholders and influence adoption across complex organizations.
- Strategic mindset with experience connecting platform adoption and client engagement to campaign activity, pipeline, and revenue growth.
- Strong communicator who can turn complex product concepts into practical, client-facing recommendations.
- Commercially minded, highly organized, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a remote-first environment, with a willingness to travel as needed.
