Accounts Payable Analyst (Treasury Operations)

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Analyst with a strong focus on payment processing and treasury operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payment execution, ensuring timely and accurate payments, optimizing cash management, and supporting treasury-related activities within the accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payment processes, banking operations, and financial controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk in global payment transactions.

 Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do:

• Oversee and execute all vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other outgoing payments in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage payment cycles, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with cash flow strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, resolving payment issues, and ensuring seamless payment execution.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company treasury policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline payment operations and enhance automation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to payments and cash management.
• Assist in managing FX payments, cross-border transactions, and treasury-related reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, finance, and treasury teams, to resolve payment-related issues.
• Provide analysis and reporting on payment trends, discrepancies, and reconciliation activities.

These are the essentials for having an interview:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Treasury Operations, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of payment processes, banking systems, and treasury operations.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and payment platforms.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements related to payments, including fraud prevention and SOX controls.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis for reporting and reconciliation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling cross-border payments and multi-currency transactions.
• Knowledge of treasury management systems and banking portals.
• Prior experience in process automation and AP transformation initiatives.
