- We are seeking to hire a Data Manager for our Actuarial team to manage our Casualty insights.
- The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing, analysing, and interpreting data to support our casualty insurance data analytics operations.
- This role requires a strong understanding of data management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
How you'll make an impact
- Oversee the collection, organisation, and maintenance of casualty-related data.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyse casualty data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights to support underwriting, claims, and risk management strategies.
- Create dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Work closely with actuaries, underwriters and brokers.
- Support the development of predictive models and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data management.
About you
- Proven experience in data management, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of casualty insurance products.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Must have right to work in the UK
